This elastic sports tape can be used in many contexts. It is, among other things, optimal as thumb tape for a wide range of movements in CrossFit and weightlifting. In addition, the tape can be used to stabilize joints to avoid undesirable movements. Its elasticity means that the joint is not completely "locked" as with normal inelastic sports tape, and thus still provides a certain mobility which is essential in many sports. The tape is used, among other things, in rugby and American football to tape players' ankles and wrists to prevent injuries.
Unlike many other elastic tapes, this one has adhesive, so it won't slip off when it gets wet or when you start sweating, which is often a problem with elastic tapes that only stick to themselves and not to the skin.
The tape does not leave any adhesive residue on the skin, but it can be a bit uncomfortable to tear off if it has been on a patch of skin with long hair.
NOTE: If you have an allergy to Zinc Oxide, we recommend that you choose a different sports tape, as our elastic tape contains Zinc Oxide adhesive.
